Blush Burlesque classes are a clever combination of chair dance exercises which are taught in a simple follow along style to help you monitor progression and improved fitness and confidence levels. This is combined with simple yet effective routines to introduce you to the art of tease through performance. Routines are taught over 6 weeks, and you are welcome to join classes at any time. each week we repeat moves learnt on previous week as well as add new moves. On week 6 you are invited, (not compulsory) to dress up in costume to enhance and complement your new burlesque persona. Complete beginners are recommended to start on weeks 1-3 as we break moves down in more detail on these weeks.
Are the classes drop in or book in advance?
Our burlesque classes can be attended on a drop in basis at £6 per class, no need to book just turn up. This option does not guarantee a place in the class. Our passes reserve your space in the class and also offer a discount on class price.
Class passes are £30 for 6 lessons and are available to book on this page. The passes run per term, which is 6 weeks long, missed classes cannot be rolled over or refunded unfortunately. A pass will reserve your place in the class every week.
Are there opportunities to perform?
We run student showcases every year where students are invited to perform to friends, family and other students. Outstanding students are invited to perform as part of our agency for clients nationwide. These opportunities are offered to students wanted to enter the burlesque performance circuit. We offer support and advice for all performers, whatever their background or training.
